Getting Started with AtomicEdge
Protect your website with AtomicEdge WAF in just a few simple steps.
Quick Setup Overview
- Create Account - Sign up and choose your plan
- Add Website - Enter your domain and server details
- Update DNS - Point your domain to AtomicEdge
- Verify Protection - Confirm your site is protected
Step 1: Create Your Account
- Visit atomicedge.io and click "Sign Up"
- Choose from Free, Pro, or Enterprise plans
- Verify your email address
- Log in to your new dashboard
Step 2: Add Your Website
- Click "Add New Site" in your dashboard
- Enter your domain name (e.g.,
example.com) - Enter your server's IP address or hostname
- Save your configuration
Step 3: Update Your DNS
This is the most important step:
- Log into your DNS provider (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, etc.)
- Find your domain's A record
- Update the IP address to your AtomicEdge endpoint IP
- Save changes
Example:
Before: example.com → 192.168.1.100 (your server)
After: example.com → 203.0.113.10 (AtomicEdge)Step 4: Verify Protection
- Wait 5-60 minutes for DNS changes to take effect
- Check that "Protection Status" shows "Active" in your dashboard
- Visit your website to confirm it loads normally
- View security logs to see traffic flowing through the WAF
Verification Checklist
- ✅ Account created and verified
- ✅ Website added to dashboard
- ✅ DNS updated to AtomicEdge IP
- ✅ Website loads normally
- ✅ Protection status shows "Active"
